EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF
TURBULENT AIR JET BY
LASER DOPPLER ANEMOMETER (LDA)
A mathematical model has been established to calculate the jet under effect of different environment factors. Before application of model to the jet in combustion chamber it should be validated by experimental data. In this paper the velocity profile is determined by Laser Doppler method. The mass flow is then calculated and compared with the value given by the model. We found a good coherence between the model and the measurement.
